Madhyamgram
has its own community. Its objective is
in developing and building up communities of men and women of Madhyamgram to
enable empowerment, self-sufficiency and control over their environment.
Community Service is performed for the benefit of the residence living in its
local area. Being a popular trade center for gold and ornament traders from
erstwhile Bengal (now Bangladesh) Madhyamgram is a rapidly developing city.
Though Durga puja is the main festival of Bengalis Kali-Puja in Madhyamgram is
more famous.
